What Is Learning?
Students go to school to learn. Teachers take professional development courses to learn. Employees participate in training courses to learn. We learn new languages, computer programming, golf, bridge, social media etiquette and emojis, and how to tie our shoes. But what does it really mean to learn? And how does learning happen in the brain?
In this webinar, we dig underneath the surface of teaching and learning and explore the most important things teachers, parents and trainers of all kinds need to know about learning in the brain and how to create the most effective learning experiences. Spoiler alert: A teacher or trainer does not take their knowledge and transfer it to the learner. In this webinar, we discuss what really happens based on sound neuroscience.
After you have watched this webinar, you can request a Certificate of Participation for Professional Development purposes.
