If said B, you were right. B is the only flag that didn’t already appear in the array of flags.
But there’s another explanation as well. The flags are in alphabetical order of the countries they belong to (reading from left to right and starting with the top row):

United Kingdom
United States
Actually, according to that rule, it could also have been the flag of the United Kingdom, but, given that it’s Flag Day (June 14) in the U.S., the answer still makes the most sense, we think.
Very interesting indeed but a little easy. Maybe we deserve something a little more challenging. But it is a promising start!
