BrainWare SAFARI as an Evidence-Based Intervention under ESSA
The US Department of Education has issued non-regulatory guidance to help schools implement the new provisions of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA, the most recent amendments to ESEA). The document is titled: Using Evidence to Strengthen Education Investments.
The guidance outlines the steps and the criteria for determining the most effective evidence-based interventions to improve student outcomes.
BrainWare SAFARI is a cognitive training program that builds learning capacity and has been shown to have a significant positive impact on academic performance, including narrowing or closing the gap for historically low-performing groups. It is delivered in an engaging video-game format and is typically used for 12 to-14 weeks. It is used by students from elementary grades through adult learners.
